Svitolina moves into third round of Rogers Cup Montreal

Ukraine’s No.1 Elina Svitolina has moved into the third round of Rogers Cup in Montreal, Canada, with a prize fund of $2.82 million.
“No.3 seed Elina Svitolina's Rogers Cup title defence remains alive, although her victory over Mihaela Buzarnescu today was bittersweet: deep in an enthralling decider, the Romanian went over on her ankle and was forced to retire trailing 6-3, 6-7(5), 4-3,” WTA reports.
In the third round, Svitolina will face either Johanna Konta (the UK) or Victoria Azarenka (Belarus).
