Svitolina beats world No. 1 Halep

Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina, seeded fourth, defeated top seeded Simona Halep of Romania 6-0, 6-4 in the decisive match of the WTA Series Premier 5 in Rome (Italy) on Sunday, May 20.
The prize money of the tournament was $3.352 million, Ukrinform reports.
After defending her title in the Italian capital, Svitolina retained fourth position in the WTA rating and will again rise to fourth spot in the WTA Race.
Svitolina beat Halep four times and lost twice.
