Elina Svitolina is No.6 in year-end WTA ranking

The final tournament of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) in Singapore made the latest adjustments to the world ranking of 2017.
Simona Halep stays on top of the table and is the Year-End World No.1, with Garbiñe Muguruza in the second slot. After claiming the title at the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global, Caroline Wozniacki also moves up the rankings - to World No.3, climbing three places, WTA tennis portal reports.
Ukraine No.1 Elina Svitolina, who broke into top-10 of the world ranking this year and even was among the top three players, eventually took the 6th position following Karolina Pliskova and Venus Williams.
Besides Svitolina, three more Ukrainian tennis players entered the WTA final ranking of 2017: Lesya Tsurenko (43rd position), Kateryna Kozlova (86th) and Kateryna Bondarenko (93d).
