Kyiv to allocate UAH 25 mln on Champions League final

Kyiv plans to allocate UAH 25 million (about $1 million) on the final match of the 2017/2018 Champions League, Deputy Mayor and Kyiv City Council Secretary Volodymyr Prokopiv has said.

He stated this at a briefing on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We will host the final match of the 2017/2018 UEFA Champions League, which will be held in May next year. We are already preparing for this event. At today's meeting we have to approve an agreement on holding this final match," Prokopiv said.

He noted that the city expects the arrival of 150,000 foreign tourists for this event.
