Lomachenko to fight Rigondeaux in New York on December 9

ESPN boxing writer Dan Rafael has said that reigning WBO junior lightweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko (9-1, 7 KOs) will hold his next fight against Cuban Guillermo Rigondeaux (17-0, 11 KOs) in New York on December 9.
"Lomachenko's next fight supposed to be Dec. 9 at MSG Theater on ESPN. Arum said he has deal for opponent. I'm told it's Rigondeaux," he wrote on his Twitter page.
Earlier, Lomachenko's promoter, Bob Arum, said that Rigondeaux had agreed to move up two weight classes to challenge Lomachenko.
UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor, who is preparing for a fight against Floyd Mayweather, said which of the modern boxers he supports. "But I like the lighter guys. (Vasyl) Lomachenko and (Guillermo) Rigondeaux is a fight that I'm eager to see," he said.
