July 23-30, the Hungarian town of Györ will host 2017 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival which will bring together 2,500 strongest athletes aged 14-18 years from 50 countries of the continent.

Forty-four Ukrainians will compete for the awards in six disciplines: track and field athletics, judo, swimming, gymnastics, cycling, canoeing and kayaking, Ukrinform learnt from the press service of the National Olympic Committee.

"Our team of track and field athletes will be traditionally the largest one. It should be noted that the rowing competitions this year will be held only for the second time in the history of the Olympic Festival, which started in 1991", the press service noted.
