Ukrainian tennis player Svitolina advances to quarterfinals at WTA Taiwan Open

Ukrainian female number one tennis player Elina Svitolina achieved second victory at the WTA Taiwan Open, where a total prize fund is $250,000.
In the second round, the 22-year old Kharkiv city resident, seed number 1, defeated Lucie Hradecka from the Czech Republic – 6-4, 7-5, an Ukrinform reports.
In quarterfinals, Svitolina will take on Ons Jabeur from Tunis who prevailed in a battle against American tennis player Nicole Gibbs– 7-5, 6-2.
