Ukraine’s Paralympics team tops medal standings at Para Nordic Skiing World Cup

Ukraine’s Paralympics team has topped the medal standings of the 2017 Para Nordic Skiing World Cup, held in the village of Turka, Yavoriv district, Lviv region.
The representatives of a total of 18 countries took part in the competitions, Ukrinform learned from the press service of Youth and Sports Ministry of Ukraine.
Ukrainians won 56 medals (19 gold, 16 silver and 21 bronze medals). The German team occupied the second place, having won 13 medals (6 gold, 4 solver, 3 bronze). The team of France is ranked the third, having won 7 medals (6 gold and 1 silver).
Now the Paralympians are getting prepared for the World Para Nordic Skiing Championships, which will be held in the German city of Finsterau on February 10-19.
