The so-called national football team, set up in the occupied Crimea, will be able to play matches at any level only with the permission of the Football Federation of Ukraine.
Such a statement was made by Honorary President of the Russian Football Union Vyacheslav Koloskov, R-Sport Russian news agency reports.
"To date, this team can play matches only with the permission of the Football Federation of Ukraine. Of course, they have every right to gather, train, and even to play somewhere with their Crimean teams. However, no official or even friendly matches can be held because they are not an independent federation within FIFA and UEFA, they are still under the jurisdiction of the Football Federation of Ukraine," Koloskov said.
According to him, such a team will obtain a prospect "when the legitimacy of Crimea’s joining the Russian Federation is recognized."
