Official ceremony to send off Ukrainian national soccer team set for May 22

A festive ceremony devoted to the departure of the Ukrainian national soccer team to the 2016 European Championship, which will start next month in France, will be held in Kyiv on May 22, the press service of the Football Federation of Ukraine reports on its site.
"A festive ceremony, which will begin at 12.00 at Mykhaylivska Square in the capital to celebrate Europe Days in Ukraine, will be attended by soccer players and coaches of the national team, the president of the Football Federation of Ukraine Andriy Pavelko, chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Vitaliy Klitschko, the minister of youth and sports of Ukraine Ihor Zhdanov, and ambassadors of the national team at Euro 2016," a statement said.
