Ukraine’s Svitolina unmoved at 16th in WTA rankings

The first Ukraine tennis "racket", Kharkiv resident, Elina Svitolina has retained her 16th position in a new ranking of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) which was published Monday.

Lesya Tsurenko has advanced to the 42th position in the ranking, but Kateryna Bondarenko dropped to the 63th poition, Ukrinform reports.

The best Ukrainians in the women’s doubles rankings are Olga Savchuk - 45 th, Kateryna Bondarenko 46th, Lyudmyla Kichenok – 58th and Nadiya Kichenok – 54th.

In the men's Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings Kyiv resident Alexander Dolgopolov dropped to 30th position, Ilya Marchenko slipped to the 70th, and Sergiy Stakhovsky rose to 108th place.

The best among Ukrainians in men’s doubles competition is Denys Molchanov ranked 88th in ATP rankings.
