Nearly 800 policemen to ensure public order at Europa League match in Lviv tonight

Nearly 800 policemen will ensure public order during the football match FC Shakhtar Donetsk vs Schalke 04 from Germany.

The communications department of the national police directorate in the Lviv region reports.

"The main task of law enforcement officers- to ensure public order and safety of the soccer fans. It is, first of all, relate to the area adjoining the stadium, the city downtown and train stations," a statement said.

Also, police along with stewards will closely monitor fans for carrying prohibited items.

Recall that tonight on February 18, 1/16 finals between  FC Shakhtar Donetsk and "Schalke 04" (Germany) will be played at the Arena Lviv stadium. The kick-off time -22.05. The tie will be attended visit by more than 25,000 people, 1,500 of them are foreign fans.
