The delegation of Ukraine led by First Deputy Information Policy Minister of Ukraine Emine Dzheppar is paying visit to Tallinn, where the delegation discusses the results and further plans for raising global public awareness about the problems of Crimean Tatars.

Emine Dzheppar posted this on her Facebook page.

"We had a meeting at the Foreign Ministry of Estonia with the head of the program for development and cooperation, which financed the project ‘Protection of the rights of the Crimean Tatars by means of public diplomacy mechanisms.’ The strategy of public diplomacy, which was developed within the framework of the project, is already running. This is the first systematic document on protection of the rights of Crimean Tatars. It has been integrated into the work of the Information Policy Ministry of Ukraine," Dzheppar wrote.

The project is aimed at raising awareness of the international community on the current problems of the Crimean Tatars, their history and culture. The project has been drafted and carried out with the support of the Estonian Institute of Human Rights.
