Seven more children have been returned to Ukraine-controlled territory from the Russian-occupied part of the Kherson region.

According to Ukrinform, Kherson Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Prokudin announced this on Telegram.

"Another seven children have been returned from the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region to Ukraine-controlled territory. They include four girls and three boys aged 10 to 17," Prokudin said.

The return was carried out under the president's Bring Kids Back UA initiative with the assistance of the Save Ukraine charitable organization. The children are now safe.

Prokudin said the children are currently undergoing reintegration at Hope and Recovery centers, where they are receiving psychological support, assistance with restoring documents, safe accommodation, and other care needed to begin a new chapter in their lives.

He stressed that, while the occupation is now behind these children, hundreds of other Ukrainian children continue to face Russian repression every day. According to him, the occupation authorities continue efforts to erase their Ukrainian identity.

Since the beginning of 2026, a total of 124 children have been returned to Ukraine-controlled territory from the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region.

Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Olena Kondratiuk said earlier that 42% of individuals sanctioned by Ukraine for crimes against Ukrainian children are not included on foreign sanctions lists.
