Ukrenergo to deliver 10,000 “Warmth Packages” to regions affected by attacks
This was reported by the company’s press service on Telegram, Ukrinform notes.
“Almost 10,000 ‘Warmth Packages’ will be delivered to residents of the regions most affected by attacks thanks to our company. This is a one-time targeted aid for people with limited mobility, those in difficult life circumstances, and elderly people living alone who suffered due to the destruction of energy infrastructure after Russian attacks,” the statement reads.
The report notes that the one-time aid packages contain items that help people stay warm during the cold period, keep in touch, and charge medical devices. The packages will be sent to communities in regions where energy and heating infrastructure suffered the most from Russian missile and drone attacks.
As previously reported, the “Warmth Package” initiative, launched by the government and Naftogaz in February 2026, aims to support vulnerable groups (people with limited mobility, elderly living alone) in Kyiv and the surrounding region affected by energy supply disruptions. The initiative has also been joined by NAEC Energoatom and PJSC Ukrhydroenergo.
