Over 300 artists, media professionals killed in Ukraine since war began

Since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, 329 cultural and media representatives have been killed in Ukraine, including 221 Ukrainian artists and 108 Ukrainian and foreign media professionals.
That is according to the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.
The ministry stressed that these figures reflect not only the scale of human losses but also echo tragic pages of Ukrainian history.
"Just as the Stalinist regime destroyed a generation of Ukrainian artists in the 1920s and 1930s, today Russia is deliberately exterminating Ukraine's cultural elite," the statement said.
