Former USAID top official named CEO of Nova Ukraine foundation

The organization shared the news with Ukrinform on Thursday.

“Ambassador McKee oversaw the largest humanitarian response in USAID’s history, directing massive aid to Ukraine and the region. She also spent significant time in Ukraine during the war, giving her firsthand knowledge of the country’s needs,” the foundation said.

It is noted that at USAID, Ambassador McKee managed more than $30 billion in support for Ukraine and its neighbors.

According to Nova Ukraine co-founder Nick Bilogorskiy, Ambassador McKee’s proven track record of managing large-scale humanitarian operations and her deep understanding of Ukraine make her “the ideal leader” to guide the organization.

Erin McKee herself emphasized that she considers Nova Ukraine a rare combination of grassroots passion and professional excellence.

“My goal is to help transform this crisis into a catalyst for an enduring Ukraine-America partnership,” she stressed.

As reported, Nova Ukraine is a U.S.-based nonprofit NGO providing aid and services to people in Ukraine. Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, the organization delivered over $130 million to support civilians, medical workers, first responders, and displaced families across Ukraine.
