Representatives of foreign embassies, together with Head of Ukraine's State Emergency Service (SES) Andrii Danyk, visited the site of a Russian strike in Kyiv where three rescuers lost their lives.

The SES press service reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"The international community continues to support Ukrainian rescuers. Together with SES Head Andrii Danyk, representatives of foreign embassies and charitable organizations visited the site of the enemy strike in Kyiv's Solomianskyi district, where three rescuers tragically died," the statement reads.

Among those present at the site were Danish Ambassador to Ukraine Ole Egberg Mikkelsen, Japanese Ambassador to Ukraine Masashi Nakagome, First Secretary at the Swedish Embassy in Ukraine Sofia Westberg, and a representative of the British charity organization Fire Aid, Edward Matthews.

"Their presence is a testament to the fact that the world is not leaving Ukraine alone in the face of its challenges. International partners not only provide humanitarian and financial aid but also show their solidarity by sharing in our grief," the SES said.

The press service added that the SES continues to receive numerous letters of support and gratitude from international organizations, including ERCC, DG ECHO, and others.

"Ordinary Kyiv residents are also expressing their appreciation and respect for the fallen rescuers. People are coming to the memorial site where the heroes lost their lives, bringing flowers, lighting candles, and leaving words of thanks for their courage and dedication," the SES reported.

In the early hours of June 6, Russia launched a massive strike on Kyiv. While responding to the aftermath of the attack, three rescuers were killed and another 14 were injured.
