371 children remain in forced evacuation zone in Donetsk region

There are still 273 families with 371 children in the settlements of Donetsk region where the forced evacuation of children is underway.

This was reported by Yuliia Ryzhakova, acting head of the Children's Service of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, at an online briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The number of children subject to compulsory evacuation with their parents or persons in loco parentis and other legal representatives is 371 children from 273 families. They are located in 16 settlements of Donetsk region,” Ryzhakova said.

She clarified that most children remain in the settlements where forced evacuation has been announced, in the Dobropole city territorial community, where 98 children from 90 families are now living, and in the Druzhkivka city territorial community, where 246 children from 166 families are living.

Ryzhakova added that over the past week, 191 children from 133 families were forcibly evacuated from Donetsk region, most of them from Druzhkivka city community - 126 children from 80 families.

As reported, the forced evacuation of children and their families in Donetsk region began on April 7, 2023.
