In Ukraine, 1,172 children considered missing - Ombudsman’s Office

A total of 1,172 children remain missing in Ukraine since the outset of the full-scale war.

The press service of the Ombudsman's Office reported the update on Facebook, as seen by Ukrinform.

"According to the report by the children's search portal, Children of War, as of August 22, 2023, a total of 1,172 children are considered missing in Ukraine, while 16,488 missing children have been located,” the report reads.

As reported, the head of several Russian "charity" organizations, the spouse of the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation Aleksandr Kurenkov, Alena Milska, is involved in the removal of Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
