As a result of the full-scale invasion, 1,605 objects of cultural infrastructure have been already damaged or destroyed.

"Over the past month, the total number of damaged objects of cultural infrastructure has increased by 23 units, most of which are in Kherson region (nine units or 39%). Cultural infrastructure suffered the greatest losses and damages in Donetsk, Kherson, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Mykolayiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Luhansk regions," the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine reports.

As of July 25, 1,605 objects of cultural infrastructure, excluding cultural heritage sites, were damaged.

According to the report, club facilities suffered the most, accounting for 48% of the total number of cultural infrastructure facilities that suffered damage. In total, 760 club facilities, 607 libraries, 90 museums and galleries, 28 theaters and philharmonic halls, and 120 art education institutions were affected.

The specified infrastructure, as well as cultural heritage sites, were damaged or destroyed by Russian shelling in the territory of 225 territorial communities (15.3%) in Vinnytsia (3%), Dnipropetrovsk (17%), Donetsk (87%), Zhytomyr (12 %), Zakarpattia (2%), Zaporizhzhia (33%), Kyiv (29%), Luhansk (42%), Lviv (4%), Mykolayiv (42%), Odesa (4%), Sumy (49%), Kharkiv (36%), Kherson (37%), Khmelnytskyi (5%), Cherkasy (3%), Chernihiv (16%) regions and the city of Kyiv.

At the same time, the Ministry emphasizes that it is impossible to calculate the exact number of affected institutions since almost the entire territory of Luhansk and large parts of the territories of Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk regions are still under temporary occupation.
