Parliament of Slovakia recognizes Holodomor as genocide against Ukrainian people

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the Parliament of Slovakia for recognizing the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as genocide against the Ukrainian people.

“I am grateful to the Parliament of Slovakia for recognizing the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as genocide against the Ukrainian people. Timely decision, significant contribution to restoring historical justice and honoring millions of innocent victims,” the Head of State posted on Twitter.

As reported, on June 14, President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Luxembourg for recognizing the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as genocide against the Ukrainian people.
