In Lithuania, according to the Employment Service, 25,600 Ukrainians work under labor contracts.

This is reported by Delfi, Ukrinform reports.

As noted, most of the Ukrainian citizens without state support were employed by PKC Group in Lithuania, Manvesta, Elixus, Rimi Lietuva, AQ Wiring Systems, Biovela - Utenos Mesa, Premier Restaurants, Costo, Marino grupė, Baltic Transline Transport.

In Lithuania, in the case of subsidized employment, the employer is compensated for wages. "This targeted support connects employers and employees - when updating or acquiring skills for specific jobs, people adapt faster and companies find employees faster," explained Brigita Blavaščiūnienė, advisor to the Employment Service's event management department.

According to experts, the integration of Ukrainians into the Lithuanian labor market helps to solve the problem of staff shortages. "This cushions the need for labor, especially in the areas of accommodation and catering services, manufacturing, construction, wholesale and retail trade," Blavaščiūnienė said.

Currently, 9.9 thousand positions are registered on the platform of the Lithuanian Employment Service.

As reported, in March, the Department of Migration registered about 42 thousand Ukrainian refugees in Lithuania who have a temporary residence permit in the country on the basis of temporary protection.
