An anti-government demonstration organized by a low-profile pro-Russian non-parliamentary political party Right Respect Professionalism (PRO) took place in the Czech capital Prague on April 16.

This was reported by Radio Prague, as seen by Ukrinform.

PRO was officially registered in 2022. Demonstrators gathered in the city center brought along Czech flags and banners with slogans criticizing the government led by Prime Minister Petr Fiala.

During the demonstration under the slogan "Czech Republic against poverty", head of PRO Jindřich Reichl said everyone who came to the square was speaking in defense of the Czech Republic.

According to him, the protest was "not only against economic poverty, but also against moral poverty."

After the demonstration ended, a group of protesters proceeded to try to break into the National Museum. At the same time, several radicals tried to remove the flag of Ukraine from the Museum building.
