King Charles III visits center for Ukrainian refugees in Berlin

King Charles III visited a center for Ukrainian refugees in the former Berlin Tegel Airport.

In the center, the monarch spoke with refugees and center staff, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The King was accompanied by President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Mayor of Berlin Franziska Giffey who also talked with the refugees.

Germany has sheltered more than 1.1 million Ukrainians since the beginning of the full-scale war.
