During an unannounced trip to Poland, Prince William of Wales met with Ukrainian refugees in Warsaw.

The relevant statement was made by William, Prince of Wales, on the social media, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In particular, Prince William of Wales visited a shelter in Warsaw, where about 300 Ukrainian women and children are living. He posted the photographs and video of his meeting with Ukrainians.

“The welcoming community and supportive volunteers here are doing so much to help those in need. It’s clear to see how the 300 Ukrainian women and children staying here can remain so positive having experienced such hardship,” Prince William of Wales wrote.

The city mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, was accompanying Prince William of Wales during that visit.

On Thursday, March 23, 2023, Prince William of Wales also met with President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda. The parties discussed humanitarian aid to Ukraine, as the official Twitter channel for the President of the Republic of Poland noted.
