Armed Forces honor Ukrainian women for their leadership and struggle

The Armed Forces of Ukraine honor Ukrainian women for their leadership and struggle.

That's according to the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

"Ukrainian women are fighting for their future and a free democratic Ukraine. The Armed Forces of Ukraine honor all women of Ukraine, in particular all women of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and all members of the Defense Forces of Ukraine for your leadership and struggle for Ukraine, for how tirelessly, selflessly and effectively you are bringing our victory over Ukraine's enemies!" the post reads.

During almost a year of Russia's large-scale invasion of Ukraine, the world community saw countless Ukrainian women standing up for themselves, their communities, and their country. Ukraine has a unique experience of women's participation in military operations to ensure national security and defense, repel and contain Russia's armed aggression since 2014 as part of the Anti-Terrorist Operation, the Joint Forces Operation, and resistance to Russia's large-scale invasion for more than a year, the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.

On International Women's Day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine expressed their gratitude to the female military personnel of all partner countries, in particular to the participants of bilateral and multinational educational, training, logistical and humanitarian operations, for their incredible work and the important role they play in providing assistance and support to Ukraine.

"The invincible women of Ukraine have changed their lives and stood up for the defense of Ukraine with weapons in their hands, supporting and helping the army as volunteers, or continuing to fight victorious battles as bravely and selflessly in the educational, scientific, informational, medical, educational, economic, legal, security, political, diplomatic, psychological, musical, family, maternal, logistical, financial, spiritual, business, industrial, cultural, artistic, communication, innovative, cyber, technical and IT fronts of this war!" the General Staff said.
