Pink Floyd, Khlyvniuk single raise over $600,000

Hey, Hey, Rise Up single, recorded by famous British rock band Pink Floyd and Ukraine’s Boombox band frontman Andriy Khlyvniuk, raised more than $600,000 in aid to Ukrainians.

“Pink Floyd would like to thank everyone who has supported Hey, Hey, Rise Up. The single, recorded on 30th March with Andriy Khlyvniuk of the Ukrainian band Boombox, has so far raised over £450,000 to help alleviate the suffering of the Ukrainian people,” Pink Floyd member David Gilmour posted on Facebook.

David Gilmour and Nick Mason added personal funds making the sum up to £500,000.

The money will be distributed to the following humanitarian charities: Hospitallers Paramedics, The Kharkiv and Przemyśl Project, Vostok SOS, Kyiv Volunteer, and Livyj Bereh.
