Ukraine switches to winter time

Ukrinform
In the early hours of October 30, Ukraine switched to winter daylight saving time by turning the clocks one hour backwards.

The clocks in Ukraine have been transferred to winter and summer time for almost four decades - on the last Sunday of October and the last Sunday of March.

The change to summer and winter time is regulated by a Cabinet of Ministers resolution of May 13, 1996, No.509, “On the procedure for calculating time in Ukraine”.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Verkhovna Rada in March 2021 sent for revision draft law No.4201 "On calculating time in Ukraine," which proposes abolishing the time change in Ukraine.
