A total of 93 Russian invaders have been eliminated in southern Ukraine over the past day. The Ukrainian aviation struck two enemy strong points in Kherson Region, as well as personnel and equipment clusters in Mykolaiv Region.

The relevant statement was made by the South Operational Command on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In the afternoon of July 22, 2022, a pair of Russia’s Ka-52 helicopters attacked the outskirts of Andriivka. No casualties were reported. In the evening, Russian troops fired 60 rocket shells at the village of Kanivske, Zaporizhzhia Region, with the Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). The open coastal area and islands in the Dnieper were hit. No casualties or damage were reported.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s assault aviation and helicopters launched four strikes on two enemy strong points in Kherson Region, as well as personnel and equipment clusters in Mykolaiv Region. The enemy’s losses included 93 troops, Grad MLRS, three BTR-82 armored personnel carriers, two Pion self-propelled guns, six motor vehicles, and an ammunition depot. The final losses are yet to be checked.

Russian occupiers are afraid of landing operations and, thus, are sowing mines along the coast.

Two Russian missile carriers ready to launch 16 Kalibr cruise missiles are remaining on duty in the Black Sea. The number of large landing crafts increased to two.
