Ukrainian paratroopers down Russia's ZALA drone

Ukrainian paratroopers have destroyed the enemy's ZALA 421-08 micro UAV, designed to conduct reconnaissance and adjust the fire.

The press service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this on its Telegram channel, according to Ukrinform.

"An air defense unit of the 80th Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces destroyed another Russian UAV. The ZALA 421-08, an unmanned aerial vehicle of the Russian occupiers, was downed forever by a Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system," the statement said.

According to the press service, this type of UAV is designed for surveillance, targeting to ensure accurate artillery fire, fire adjustment and more.

Earlier reports said that Ukrainian guerrilla fighters blew up a Russian armored train in Melitopol.
