Enemy launches 24 attacks on Luhansk region. Casualties reported

Over the past 24 hours, the Luhansk Region Police registered 24 cases of shelling of Luhansk region.

As the National Police of Ukraine posted on Telegram, the shelling killed and injured locals, including children. Eight infrastructure objects were damaged.

In the village of Shypylivka, a Russian shell hit a house where 11 people were sheltering in a basement. Contact with them was lost. Information on casualties is being clarified.

During an attack on Lysychansk, a shell hit the territory of an oil refinery, setting fire to production facilities.

During the shelling of Popasna, the capacities of Popasna water utility was damaged, as a result of which water supply was completely suspended for an indefinite period in the towns of Popasna, Lysychansk, Zolote, Hirske and in the villages of Toshkivka, Orikhove, Loskutivka, Pidlisne, Vovcheyarivka, and Maloriazantseve, as well as in the temporarily occupied territory of the towns of Pervomaisk, Kadievka, Alchevsk, Khrustalnyi, Antratsyt (about 1 million population in total).

Resumption of water supply, according to regional authorities, will be possible only after the cessation of hostilities.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine has been going on since February 24. The aggressor shells and destroys key infrastructure, residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages using artillery, MLRS, and ballistic missiles. Martial law and general mobilization were declared in Ukraine.
