Over 85,000 Ukrainians vaccinated against COVID-19 on Jan 18

Over 85,000 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Health Ministry has said on Facebook.

"As many as 85,177 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine on January 18. Some 30,201 people received their first dose, 36,744 people received their second dose, 614 people received an additional dose, and 17,618 people got a booster dose," the statement said.

Since the launch of the vaccination program, 15,053,123 people have received their first dose, 14,343,487 have received both doses, 10,687 people have got an additional dose, and 131,178 people have received a booster dose. A total of 29,538,475 doses have been administered so far.

A total of 12,815 COVID-19 infections were recorded in Ukraine on January 18.
