Innovation Summit to discuss prospects of Ukraine-Israel relations

The Ukrainian-Israeli Innovation Summit (UIIS) will be held in Kyiv on December 15 with the participation of Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and Minister for Communities and Territorial Development Oleksiy Chernyshov.

The event will be dedicated to innovative prospects of cooperation between the two countries, Ukrinform reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development

"We are currently working to create financial, infrastructural, and institutional incentives for the development of industrial parks in Ukraine. The Ukrainian-Israeli Summit is the platform that will help attract international investors. This, in turn, will contribute to strengthening the economic potential of communities, creating new jobs, and thus ensuring sustainable development of our state's economy," said Deputy Minister for Communities and Territorial Development Ivan Lukeria.

The summit will consist of six thematic panels. In particular, the participants will discuss the prospects of Ukrainian-Israeli relations in technology, construction and development of industrial parks, and building successful international diversified businesses.

In addition, for the first time in 30 years of diplomatic friendship between Ukraine and Israel, an award ceremony will be held for TOP 30 Creators of Israeli-Ukrainian Change – prominent Israelis and Ukrainians who have significantly contributed to cooperation and partnership between the two countries.

Earlier, Minister for Communities and Territorial Development Oleksiy Chernyshov stressed that developing industrial parks gives a powerful impetus for economic development.

The Ukrainian-Israeli Innovation Summit (UIIS) is an annual large-scale conference dedicated to the development of business, technological, and diplomatic relations between Israel and Ukraine.
