Over 10M Ukrainians fully vaccinated for COVID-19

Over ten million Ukrainians have already received their second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine has reported on Facebook.

According to the report, 270,258 people were vaccinated for COVID-19 in Ukraine on November 22. Some 79,207 people received their first dose, and 191,051 people were fully vaccinated.

A total of 22,939,693 doses have been administered in Ukraine since it launched the COVID-19 vaccination campaign, with 12,914,335 people receiving their first dose and 10,025,360 people receiving both doses (two people received their first dose abroad).

"Some 88.2% of those hospitalized with COVID-19 last week were not vaccinated and did not have a single dose of a COVID-19 vaccine," the ministry said.

As many as 12,729 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in Ukraine on November 22.
