Ukraine reports 11,757 new COVID-19 cases

Ukraine has recorded 11,757 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Health Ministry has reported on Facebook.

"Some 11,757 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 (including 1,054 cases among children and 242 cases among healthcare workers) were recorded in Ukraine on September 29, 2021," the report reads.

According to the report, 194 coronavirus-related deaths, 2,556 hospital admissions, and 3,839 recoveries were registered in Ukraine on September 29.

As many as 2,423,379 people in Ukraine have contracted coronavirus, 2,255,191 have recovered, and 56,274 have died since the pandemic began.

The largest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours was recorded in Kharkiv region (1,087), Lviv region (927), Dnipropetrovsk region (926), Odesa region (752), and Donetsk region (739).

Some 9,666 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in Ukraine on September 28.
