Ukraine reports 3,007 new COVID-19 cases

Ukraine has recorded 3,007 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Health Ministry has reported on Facebook.

"Some 3,007 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 (including 286 cases among children and 32 cases among healthcare workers) were recorded in Ukraine on September 26, 2021," the report reads.

According to the report, 94 coronavirus-related deaths, 1,478 hospital admissions, 952 recoveries were registered in Ukraine on September 26.

As many as 2,395,404 people in Ukraine have contracted coronavirus, 2,245,144 have recovered, and 55,720 have died since the pandemic began.

The largest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours was recorded in Dnipropetrovsk region (371), Chernivtsi region (282), Lviv region (241), Kharkiv region (233), and Ternopil region (180).

Some 4,647 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in Ukraine on September 25.
