Ukraine reports 2,082 new coronavirus cases

Ukraine has recorded 2,082 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 2,282,285, the Health Ministry has reported on Facebook.
"Some 2,082 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 (including 108 children and 35 health workers) were recorded in Ukraine on August 27, 2021," the report reads.
According to the report, 54 deaths, 1,025 recoveries and 708 hospitalizations were registered in Ukraine in the last day.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 53,686 deaths and 2,205,707 recoveries have been recorded.
The highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours was registered in Kyiv city (266), Lviv region (189), Kharkiv region (187), Luhansk region (157), and Donetsk region (157).
Some 2,032 new coronavirus cases were registered in Ukraine on August 26.
