Ukraine reports 1,353 new coronavirus cases

Ukraine has recorded 1,353 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 2,265, 217.
"Some 1,353 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 (including 99 children and 33 health workers) were recorded in Ukraine on August 13, 2021," the Health Ministry of Ukraine posted on Facebook.
According to the report, 21 coronavirus-related deaths, 641 hospitalizations, and 791 recoveries were registered in Ukraine on August 13.
As many as 2,265, 217 people in Ukraine have contracted coronavirus, 2,196,589 have recovered, and 53,238 have died since the pandemic began.
The highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours was recorded in Kyiv city (198), Kharkiv region (138), Dnipropetrovsk region (117), Donetsk region (98), and Odesa region (81).
