COVID-19 in Ukraine: Officials confirm 916 new cases over past 24 hrs

Ukraine recorded 916 new coronavirus cases in the past day, July 30.

"On July 30, 2021, a total of 916 new confirmed cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus disease (including 61 children and 43 medics) were recorded in Ukraine,"  the Ukrainian Health Ministry has reported on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

The ministry further elaborated that 15 lethal cases were reported across Ukraine on Friday, as well as 486 hospitalizations and 510 recoveries.

As many as 2,252,785 persons in Ukraine have contracted coronavirus since the onset of the pandemic, while 2,186,863 have recovered and 52,945 fell victim of the novel coronavirus.

The highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours was recorded in Kyiv (176), as well as Odesa region (85), Donetsk region (73), Kharkiv region (70), and Dnipropetrovsk region (56).

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on July 29, Ukraine health officials reported 962 new COVID-19 cases.
