Ukraine records 745 new COVID-19 cases

Ukraine has recorded 745 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Health.

"Some 745 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 (including 51 children and 20 health workers) were recorded in Ukraine on July 23, 2021," the ministry wrote on Facebook, Ukrinform reports

On July 23, Ukraine recorded 395 hospitalizations, 24 deaths related to COVID-19, and 394 recoveries.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,248,164 people in Ukraine have contracted coronavirus, 2,184,036 have recovered and 52,835 have died.

The highest number of new confirmed COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours was recorded in Kyiv city (194), Dnipropetrovsk region (58), Kherson region (54), Sumy region (42), and Lviv region (42).
