Over 37,000 people vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine on July 18

As many as 37,173 COVID-19 vaccinations have been performed in Ukraine in the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Health Ministry has reported on Facebook.

"Some 37,173 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 on July 18, 2021. Some 28,582 people received their first dose, and 8,591 people were fully vaccinated," the ministry said.

According to the report, 88 mobile teams, 124 vaccination sites, and 225 vaccination centres were operating in Ukraine on Sunday, July 18.

A total of 2,667,523 shots have been given since the beginning of the vaccination campaign. Some 2,667,521 people received their first dose, and 1,431,127 people were fully vaccinated (two of them received their first dose abroad).

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started in Ukraine on February 24, 2021. It will be conducted in five phases.
