Kyiv sets 12 temperature records this summer

The night of Wednesday into Thursday has turned out to be the hottest in Kyiv city on record since 1881, according to the Central Geophysical Observatory named after Borys Sreznevskyi.

"According to observations of the Central Geophysical Observatory named after Borys Sreznevskyi, the night into July 15 turned out to be the warmest since 1881. In the early hours of today’s morning the temperature did not fall below + 22.8 °C, thus exceeding the previous maximum for this night recorded in 2010 by 1.4 °C,” reads the report.

Thus, Kyiv city has already broken 12 temperature records this summer.
