Record high number of people in Ukraine vaccinated against COVID-19 on July 8

On July 8, 109,160 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine, which is the highest number of daily vaccination rate for the country, the Ministry of Health wrote on its Facebook page.

"Ukraine has set a new record of vaccinations per day! As many as 109,160 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 on July 8, 2021. 44,816 people received their first dose, 64,344 people were fully immunized," reads the report.

On July 8, 724 mobile teams, 1,525 vaccination service points and 35 vaccination centers operated across the country.

Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign in Ukraine, 2,223,408 people have been vaccinated. Of whom 2,223,406 people received their first dose, 1,082,602 people received two doses (two of them received their first dose abroad).

As Ukrinform reported, 104,680 people were vaccinated in Ukraine on July 7.
