The online course "Ukraine: History, Culture and Identities", which helps to gain basic knowledge of Ukrainian history and culture and debunks common stereotypes about Ukraine, is now available in Norwegian.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Ukrainian Institute.

The translation into Norwegian was initiated on a volunteer basis by Harald Vågene, who founded Familiehjelpen Ukraina.

"As the head of the organization, I try to learn more about Ukraine. I am often asked about Ukraine, and it is important for me to provide correct information about the history, life and politics of the country. I saw this course on Facebook, completed it, and then proposed the project team to translate it into Norwegian so that more people would enjoy the course," he said.

On February 1, 2021, this course was created in English by the Ukrainian Institute, EdEra, and the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. It is available in English and Norwegian for free on the Udemy platform.
