Ten temperature records were broken in Kyiv city in June, according to the Central Geophysical Observatory named after Borys Sreznevskyi.

The average monthly air temperature in Kyiv city in June was 21.3 °C, which exceeds the climatic norm by 1.8 °C.

"As many as 10 temperature records were set from June 23 to June 26. Six days with the maximum air temperature above 30.0 °C were recorded," reads the report.

June 1 turned out to be the coldest day of the month, when the temperature dropped to 7.2 °C in early hours of that day, and June 24 was the hottest, when the temperature rose to +35.5 °C in the afternoon.

In June, precipitation on Nauky Avenue was 37 mm, which is 32% of climatic norms.
