"Ukraine and Turkey will cooperate on the construction of housing for the Crimean Tatar people, internally displaced persons, participants in the Joint Forces Operation area. The Government has approved a bill to ratify the agreement," Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal posted on Telegram.
He added that the Parliament’s support and further implementation of the agreement would revive the housing construction process and improve the living conditions and well-being of citizens.
As reported, in April 2021, an intergovernmental agreement between Ukraine and Turkey was signed on the construction of housing for Crimean Tatars, providing for about 500 apartments for internally displaced persons.
