Slovakia donates EUR 195,000 worth of protective gear for COVID-19 to Okhmatdyt

Slovakia has donated EUR 195,000 worth of personal protective equipment for COVID-19 to the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv, Slovak Prime Minister Eduard Heger has said.

He said this after a meeting with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal in Kyiv on Friday, May 28, according to Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"From our side, you can accept assurances regarding assistance to Ukraine in overcoming COVID-19. Today, let me hand over a certificate for the provision of protective equipment in the amount of EUR 195,000 to the Okhmatdyt children's hospital," Heger said.

According to him, Ukraine can continue to count on Slovakia's support in the fight against coronavirus.
