Liashko, Maasikas discuss technology transfer

"Ukraine and the Ministry of Health continue their European integration movement. Our healthcare system will change in accordance with the best world trends and requirements. This means not only the unification of approaches to treatment, educational programs, and quality standards but also partnership and transparency of interaction between the Ministry and institutions and enterprises in the sphere of its management," Liashko posted on Facebook on May 25.

The minister informed that during his meeting with Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Matti Maasikas, the issues of technology transfer were discussed "because this is the fastest opportunity to launch domestic vaccine production and pharmaceutical independence of the country."

Viktor Liashko also thanked the EU Delegation to Ukraine for its support and a common vision of cooperation in the field of healthcare.
