More than 73,000 people in Ukraine vaccinated in past day

On April 29, 73,376 people in Ukraine received one dose of COVID-19 vaccine, Health Minister Maksym Stepanov wrote on Facebook.

"On April 29, 73,376 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine. In total, 702,440 people have been vaccinated since the beginning of the vaccination campaign. In particular, people vaccinated with their first dose – 702,438, fully vaccinated people (received two doses) – 130,” Stepanov wrote.

On April 29, the highest number of people were vaccinated in Kyiv city – 8,362, Kharkiv region – 6,015, Kyiv region – 5,743, Poltava region – 5,433, and Dnipropetrovsk region – 4,968.

As reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine began vaccinating the population against coronavirus on February 24.

Ukraine recorded 10,072 new coronavirus cases on April 29.
